Obituary

Alanna LaShawn Long, affectionately known as "Tina," was born to Gloria Richardson and O'Neal Long on July 31, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in May 1990. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Carver Heights Baptist Church for many years under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Carter. She later became a member of Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church and was an active on the Usher Board. Her final church home was Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Seagoville, Texas under the leadership of Reverend R. H. Bollin.

There to greet her at the heavenly gates are: mother, Gloria Richardson; grandmother, Thelma Hicks; brother, Charles and aunt, Patricia Ruth Rose.

Left to cherish her memories: father, O'Neal Long (Mamie); three children, Alicia Long Kennedy, Eric Delon Freeman, Edric Delon Freeman; brothers, Eric Richardson, Terry Johnson and Paul Long; sisters, Lynell Johnson, Bridget Jackson and Regina Luckey; grandfather, Albert Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

The wake will be on Thursday, September 20, 2012 7-7:45pm at Evergreen.

The homegoing celebration will commence on Friday, September 21, 2012 11:30am at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home.
