Obituary

Addie Virginia Haynes Roblow
DELIVERING LOVE, LAUGHTER, AND LIGHT

On a hot summer day in Jewett, Texas, on August 16, 1953, Dadie and Ethel Haynes gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who was destined to share love, humor, and care with all she met. Her name is Addie Virginia Haynes Roblow.  Addie attended George Washington Carver High School, graduated from Leon High School in Jewett, Texas, and later earned her Cosmetology Degree to open Addie's Hair Design on Loop 12, proudly advertised on Soul 73 KKDA. Not only did she specialize in healthy hairstyles, such as the Jheri Curl and Wave Nouveau, but she also greeted everyone with a smile in her most recent career as a United States Postal Service Mail Carrier.

She was a member of Saintsville Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the Late Bishop J. Neul Haynes. Later in life, she enjoyed visiting other places of worship.

Those who have transitioned before her are Dadie and Ethel Haynes (parents), Dadie Lee "Maxine" Kinchon (older sister), Omanda Haynes (niece), and Dorsey Lee Roblow (friend and former spouse).

Addie V. Haynes Roblow enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, talking on the phone throughout the day, playing the Lottery, Bingo, watching movies, giving sound advice, and consistently praying for her family.

Our fondest memories include family vacations, holiday dinners, and celebrations like graduations, recitals, and football games. She had an infectious golden smile, a hearty laugh, a sense of humor, and a giving heart.

Her radiant smile, laughter, and glow transitioned into a legacy her family will cherish for generations on a cool, crisp day, March 16, 2026, at age 72.

Those who are left to share her story and cherish her memories are her daughters, Cherrender L. Sue Haynes, and Natacha K. Roblow. Sons: Jermaine Roblow (Melody) and Frederick Roblow (Renea). Brother: E.J Haynes (Dolores) Grandchildren: Addia L. Billingsley (Tyrell), Audreanna D. L. Roblow, Sha'Morgan L. Brown, Cherrender L. Brown, Arza S.M. Brown, Natara C. Williams, Kaylee E. Vasher. Frederick M. Roblow and Addison K. Roblow. Greatgrandchildren: Kenya M. Dixon, C.J Billingsley.

Special nephews and nieces: Arthur Gene Haynes, Dewitt Haynes (Amber), Marcus Haynes, Joshua Haynes, Trey Tinsley, Destiny Tinsley, Nila Haynes, and Liam Nichols, along with close friends and co-workers.
