Obituary

Aaron Ellis, Jr. was born October 22, 1932 in Avon Park, Florida. He was the oldest son of eleven children born to the late Reverend Aaron, Sr. and Lubertha Ellis.

In later years Aaron joined the United States Air Force and united in Holy Matrimony with Irene Morris of Tampa, Florida. They were married for forty nine years before her passing in 2002. The air force gave Aaron and his family the opportunity to visit different sites around the world. Also, Aaron was member of the air force boxing team and air force football team.

Aaron's favorite sport was golf. He has won many tournaments and received of thirty trophies throughout his earlier years.

Aaron retired from the air force in 1971 settling with his family  in Long Island, NY, moved back to Tampa, Florida in the early 90's and eventually moving to Texas to be closer to his children.

Aaron leaves to us to rejoin with his wife Irene and son, Aaron III.

Those he leaves to mourn his passing are his three sons, Calvin Ellis (Joan) of Marianna, Florida; Bernard Ellis (Paula) of Houston, Texas, and Matthew Ellis (Sharon) of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Jocelyn Dominique (Paul Sr.) and Tracey Beaulieu of Quebec, Canada; fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; brothers, Matthew Ellis, Warren Ellis, and Dr. Ronald Ellis; sister, Elanore; and a host of relatives and friends.
